Kip McLeod
Kip McLeod began his 43rd year in education in July of 2022. He has spent the last five years as the Academic Coach at Cook High School. Prior to Cook High School, he was the principal at Hamilton County High School (4 years) in Jasper, Florida. He has also served as principal at Hahira Middle School (5 years) and has been an assistant principal (8 years) at Lowndes High, Lowndes Middle, and Lowndes Alternative Schools. Overall he has spent 42 years as an educator. The last 22 years have been in administration and the prior 20 years as a Physical Education teacher and coach. As a teacher, he has worked in Lowndes, Grady, Macon, and Cook counties. He also spent 7 years with Valdosta State University as an instructor and coach.
